I love that stream. One of the most epic days of my life was on that stream carrying a large, intoxicated, hypothermic, dehydrated woman all the way up that trail with a buddy of mine. She had a fractured ankle and had spent a rainy night by the creek.... Look out for copperheads, as well. They are all over that stream. There are nice wild browns in there, too, but you do have to be stealthy- hands and knees stealthy. Your silhouette will really put the fish down on that stream because it's so open.

Lost Cove

Yeah stealth is very important. I spooked several fish before I finally caught one. A 14" Brown! Very cool stream. Do Copperheads swim? I saw probably 30 snakes over 3 days most were near the water.

So much for the don't ask don't tell.

I know it is no huge secret but you also already have people asking for directions. I'd also say a few out of the 935 views so far, some may be more internet/google savvy and would be able to find directions easily. Don't be surprised if this public watershed has more foks on it next time you visit.

You so correct, Matt. Thanks.
Don't name the stream if it's a wild one, dudes...
