Boone Mon.,Tues, Wed.

Hey everyone,
I will finally be using my Christmas present from last year and doing a float trip with Foscoe on Tues. I will be in Boone Mon through Wed. any advice on good wading areas for mon and wed. any advice would be welcome because i am not familiar with the area. Not trying to move in on any special spots just a general areas where I can try

Your best bet is probably going to be the Watauga DH out on Old Shulls Mill Rd. Google "Appalachian Anglers Fly Shop" and just map it to there---the DH runs directly behind the fly shop for a couple miles in either direction. Stop in and they can give you plenty of tips on what to throw and directions to the other access, down on Broadstone Rd.

Had a great time.

Well, unfortunately, I have left Boone. I had a great time. Tues. we had the River to our selves...Didn't see another person the whole day. Fishing was great also. Caught around 20 trout including one 17 3/4" brown.. not bad for my first one and long distance release on several others. Thanks to all who responded with tips. You guys made it a great trip for me.
