hey, hope everyone had a good weekend.

my sister is visiting right now before she goes back to college and i decided to take her to see the falls at the cascades...while i fished :). we hiked up and saw the falls and then i did a little fishing where the crowds were not hangin out. i was wet wading and managed a couple 6-7 inch brookies and decided to call it a day for my sister sake. the first big one almost managed to get my nymph to its stomach (and the fly was new and i hadn't pinched the barb) it was a trial to get it out but as soon as the fish hit the water it took off.

here are the pictures, i'm going to have to train my sister to take better pictures of fish. however, right after she took it and i released she said the picture doesn't do the fish justice.

Cool pics! I haven't fished that stream in years. One of my buddies went to tech and we would fish that stream when I went to visit. I always liked to fish above the cascade but someone told me it was posted now.

i'm not sure where the posted area is but i think at some point above the falls it is posted. I talked with a guy at tangent outfitters for some length of time today after i finished. but as long as its still park property your alright.
