I have lucked into a charter trip on Chesapeake Bay this week and am hoping to bring a fly rod. My guide doesn't have much experience with fly gear, so I am reaching out here to figure out what I will need to bring as far as rod weight, type of line, and flies. Also, what type of fishing is goign on right now? My understanding is that it's not striper season?
