Connecticut's Small Streams

Here are a few photos of my last few outings on a few small streams.

Please enjoy,

Beautiful images my friend.
Better watch out. It's bad enough that Connecticut guys like me are dying to get back to Virginia to fish.
Pretty soon they will want to come up here.
Just kidding guys, if anybody is ever up this way I'd be glad to show you around a CT stream or two.

You're a man after my own heart! Thank you. Brookies in peak leaf season are a wonderful thing! -Knox

Man - what beautiful fish - so cool when they get that prominent purple halo around the red spots.

Great photos - I'm guesing that you caught either a leaf or a fish with every cast. That's the only downside to fall fishing - those leaf fish can be very frustrating. But being out on a day like that in a place like that is completely worth it.

And I thought the streams I fish are small

Really pretty fish, though. A brookie all colored up for the fall is hard to beat.

Do you have a pic of the fly?

If so could you post it?

Most of the wild fish are small, an 11 inch fish in these small streams is considered big.

The Farmington River a larger river produces some bigger fish.
