Conner Caddis Emerger
This is a great pattern to fish and look at as well. I created this years ago to match the hatch and also as an attractor. It sits great in the water with the portion below the wing submerged in the water film. The fly in the picture is a #18. It uses a clear micro tubing and gets its desired body color by the thread used.
HOOK: DAIICHI 1270 OR EQUIVALENT
BODY: TAN, GREEN, RUST ORANGE THREAD & CLEAR MICRO TUBE
UNDER WING: ROLLED AND FOLDED SPARKLE DUBBING TO MATCH INSECT COLOR.
UNDER WING: LIGHT DUN CDC PUFF
WING: ELK HAIR
LEGS: PARTRIDGE
Works great on the Watauga river
