I know a few of you have asked for the details so you can make sure you get the time off. So here are the official details.

Devinsdad and I will once again be strawbossin' the Kids and Dads weekend this year. The dates are April 17, 18, & 19. Arriving Friday the 17th and leaving on Sunday the 19th.
Dads, uncles,Grandads, big brothers...any one with a kid can come. We've had kids from 5 - 15 years old, and they all have had a blast!

We will be staying again at the Helton Creek Campground in Ashe County. Cost is $10 per night, per tent for tent campers and $25 per night for RV campers requiring hookups. Roger has reserved the whole lower end of the campground for us.

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. You will pay the camp host for your site when you arrive, and we will collect for the group meals after dinner Saturday night. Last year that worked out to $20 per family for food and $20 for the tent sites.
Bob and I will be posting a work duty list in a few weeks. We have already had a few folks volunteer for some stuff. Please remember many hands make light work.

I cannot tell you how much fun last years outing was. The best weekend with your kid in like.... forever

Lauren and I are in, with Mom's OK to take 2 days off work!!!! We'll be tent camping. Bob, which side are you going to be on? I hope I can find enough room for the big ole family tent.

Jule, when we get an approximate number lets talk about the snacks and kids bfast stuff. I can get a lot of the stuff at a cash discount from one of my route guys. If we need doughnuts, honey buns, bread, snack cakes, etc. Try to save a bit of money or at least get more bang for the buck! We'll talk about it when it gets closer. I'll ask him next time I see him too.

I will be there with my 9 yr old Daughter and need a site for electric hook up(camper).I may have other Dads/kids that want to go(were there last year) ,that are not on this board,but will keep you informed Streamer/DD.An awesome time had by ALL,even the Mommies,back home that are kidless....browny points to us Dads!!! Appreciate getting this trip back on the "books" guys!!
