Dukes Creek - 2.3.2010

Heading up to Dukes Creek on Wednesday (2.3.2010) to knock the rust off the casting arm before heading out of the country.

I've only fished Duke's once and got skunked. It was a few years ago, and since that trip I've grown in my knowledge of fly fishing. Still, I would look forward to meeting up anyone else planning on fishing this Wednesday. Feel free to message me, reply to thread, etc.

So how did you do? I hear Dukes is fishing great, and that it was recently restocked with some smaller fish in the 16" range.

i heard similar reports but can't confirm anything as I got skunked. A few guys in the van caught 4-5 a piece, so they're in there.

I learned a few things though and am looking forward to my next trip back.

My advice is to pick a section and work it till you figure it out. I personally always fish section one, I like the water there best, but it does get fished a little more. I've yet to walk away with a skunk there, but somedays are better than others...
