I will be collecting the deposits, but will have to mail the final sum to the strawboss. Therefore, I will need your deposit, sooner rather than later. I will update soon with the final date I can accept.

… The cost for the weekend will be $40 per person. This covers camping for 2 nights along with 4 meals (Friday supper, Saturday breakfast, Saturday supper and Sunday breakfast). Early arrivals for Wednesday and Thursday will incur an extra fee of $5 per person per night for camping and fishing.

BTW...The first bands of Hanna are deluging my house as I type. Wow!!!!! Pretty impressive for a non-hurricane..still 300 miles away...but I digress.

Please do not mail any special delivery stuff since that requires a trip to the Post OFfice and time I do not have. I will rig up a tracking sheet shortly, and if you send in money and do not see your name on the list in an appropriate time, pm me asap.

I have finally started catching the redfish so I may not be able to tear myself away, but if I do not make it, hope everyone has a great time.

Do we need to send the entire sum of $40 to make our reservation? Or, is the deposit less than the $40.

Yes, the entire sum of $40 is mailed to the trip treasurer. This pays for your trip up front. By doing this the straw boss(es) will have a fairly accurate count of people attending and the cooks will know how many to feed.

This prevents 70 people from from saying I am coming, and only 25 showing up, and those 25 having to cover for all the wasted food.

On rare occassion, the hat may need to be passed to collect an extra 5 bucks, Again the straw boss will let everyone know.
