AHA! Brad gets scooped in February!

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at the "tec" house tonight.

Well done Hill.

Folks, how does he do it?

Spends all weekend in Charlotte at Lyin & Tyin, sleeps in late this morning I'm sure, drives home, stops by the grandparents to pick up the kid, chat with them for a bit before continuing home, drop off his lovely bride and child at Casa de Tec, grabs his equipment, drives to the nearest stream (perhaps a poached out DH stream nearby), climbs into his waders, beguiles a respectable fish to take one of his impeccably tied flies once again, climbs out of his waders, makes it back to Casa de Tec, perhaps stopping for gas and a warm cup of cocoa on the way home, fires up the computer and, before the sun has a chance to set for another day, posts his fish for the first day of the month.

In other words Brad, I am extremely green with envy.

It was a beautiful day on the river, today - sunny and warm (for a change!). Went hunting for stream resident Cutthroat - and found a few. The largest porpoised through the fast water and managed to shake the Egg Sucking Leech as it dove for the root bundle.
The Cuts were big (up to 22'') and angry - almost too much for the 5 wt I was swinging!

Ha ha - that's one below my post. Coastal Cutthroat - they look a little different than the Eastslopes, hey?

One of the prettiest fish I know, in my book - but I'm probably a little biased!
