I too have received my copy and read through it.....I was mostly interested in reading about some of the waters I used to fish when I was much younger and the waters were more accessible. One particular area that I used to fish was only a 1.5 to 2 mile walk in is now a 14 mile round trip for a day outing. Don't know how many newbies out there are willing to put that type of effort into landing a couple of these jewells...one particular stream I can remember had a large verticle waterfall above which was pure brookie water....this aspect and the nature of the water above it were not touched on in Ian's book....most of the water that is included are places that are above known waters and that most of us who know the geography of such places expect it to be there...personally I think those of us who know anything about fishing in the park will read this from curiosity and not to discover anything new.

not 500 hundred but it is a book about the brook trout streams of the smokies. some of those streams i am not hiking to. i would make it in but im in no shape to make it out.

You can buy it here - http://www.randrflyfishing.com/pages/store.shtml

Gosh I hope they are still board sponsors and I don't get my hand slapped again for recommending someone who's not a sponsor.
