Gary's Gizmo!

So I mention in passing to a member that loading and unloading the 'toon on the Jeep is becoming a bit of a challenge for this old gimp.
So Bamboo10 drives over the next day with a neat gizmo he whipped up to load and unload the boat. It just blew me away in it's ease of use and simple yet very effective design.
Two hinged, carpeted 2X4 ramps that strap to the roof rack when needed. They fold in half and take up very little room when stashed.
Gary, you ARE the man... plain and simple!
Thanks a whole lot, buddy! Your thoughtfulness is beyond compare!

Gee, Blake. Feeling a little frisky this morning, aren't you? You must have caught a fish.

I was planning on making up some directions and selling them on stream for $14.00 and making my fortune. But now that Blake owns the idea, I guess I had better try to get the job back that I quit last night.

Mstash I will go back to the drawing board and work up a version for the "vertically challenged" just don't show it to Blake.

I guess that since it held up under the Cadillac toon that Peddler has it should work for about any one man toon. Sure is easier to slide it up than it is to try to lift it. As soon as I get another one built for me I will put up some photos on how I built it.

and then to the river or lake?

lifting or sliding its still the same weight?
