Granite State Fishing & Foliage

New Hampshire report in pictures since my computer crashed twice while trying to type up something witty.

No description needed Rob, those pictures speak for themselves. Great time of year to fish the in-laws, no? I've got to fish the northeast sometime.

Way to go. I am glad you get into some fishin' up there and that the wife let you get after em!

Nice looking brookies. I'd think they grow em bigger then in the SNP up there but I may be wrong. Never been fishin' for trout in yankee country.

It is a great time. This is our third year in a row trying to catch peak leaves, and I believe that Rachel would be happy to make it an annual thing. I would highly recommend the northeast for the scenery in it's wild places....particuarly VT,NH, and ME.

They do indeed grow them bigger. The North Woods area of NH reguarly gives up 5 and 6 pound natives. However, being a shoestring trip with driving and visiting spread over 4 days, I made due with the closest locations to where we were staying in the White Mountains area.We are already talking about doing a full weekend to weekend trip next fall.
