Introductions

Hey All. I am new to this board and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a current western new yorker but my future has eastern Tennessee in it. I am already excited about the fishing possibilities and am glad to be on this board. Cheers.

Glad to get you below the Mason/Dixon line, Great fishing opportunities await you for sure, just watch out for "falling rock" he is a booger.

I am taking a job with Oak Ridge National Lab, but I will be living in Knoxville. There seems to be so much water within short driving distance my mouth is already watering.

Welcome. I'm a former Western New Yorker myself, although I've lived in Va. since '74. My folks still live in the Southern Tier region. So whereabouts are you from? Hope all goes well with your pending move. Don't know much about ff in Tn. although I've read a lot about it.

Welcome to East Tennessee!

You'll have plenty of water to explore. You're only a few minutes from the Clinch River tailwater, about an hour from the Smokies, and will have be relatively close to the Powell and upper Clinch for smallmouth bass. Drive another hour and you'll have a few more years worth of water to explore.
