Capt., you guys get year round trout up there? I was up at emerald isle last weekend and caught a big spec while wading. I thought it was just a lucky catch this time of year.

At this one particular spot there will be some trout around on days whhen thhe conditions are right for it all summer.

Is that spot by a very deep spot that people cobia fish too?

I would not know anything about that. I do know that in addition to the two trrouut pictured (6 wt TFO, 250 gr SA Streamer Express, Chartreuse/red/white Clouuser) I also got a few bluefish, a couple small jacks, there were also ladyfish crashing bait and spanish macks that I may have been able to catch if I wanted to switch gears and chase them.
