Great picture of a warpaint shiner.
I didn't do much picture taking, although I had my camera in my shirt pocket almost all the time. After midnight. I could have taken some potentially embarrassing shots ... but we won't go there.
I did take 2 pictures, though. The first is my first brookie from Straight Fork on an orange stimulator.
The second is a slightly larger rainbow on a orange palmer.
Nothing like the pigs they were catching in the trophy section, but fun to catch none the less.
This was our 6th or 7th left behinds, I not too sure which, but we had a couple of unique events. Saturday was the worst fishing conditions we've ever had. It had rained steadily all Friday night, and in the morning, all the streams were high, off color and choked with leaves. There was just no fishing Bradley Fork, Straight Fork or Raven Fork. The guys that did the Tuck actually had reasonable fishing conditions. Still, I managed to get one 10" rainbow late in the afternoon, so I wasn't skunked.
The other unique event was that Sunday morning, there was snow on the tops of the mountains, and a dusting of snow on the cars. We've had some pretty cold nights where we had to scrape ice, but we've never had snow before.
Fortunately, we had 2 of the new lodges that have nice sized living rooms and a kitchenette, so we had a warm dry place to gather. One lodge was setup for fly tying, the other for serving food. In between was a flat graveled area that was perfect for setting up the turkey fryer, and a fire ring for the camp fire. Both lodges had nice big decks that made great gathering areas when it wasn't raining.
Yeah, we had a good time and we ate well. Thanks to everyone who pitched in and helped. The weather could have been better and the fishing could have been better, but I don't think the company could get much better.

Looking forward to our next gathering....
