ZZ, that is exactly the sort of arrangement we discussed looking for last year, but no one could come up with a suitable facility. As most of us live some distance out of the area, it is a bit difficult for us to reconnoiter.

If every one else was agreeable, and we could confirm the arrangements, I have no problem changing the venue. Pcole, Overbrook and Smokey may have a financial committment at stake, though, so we need signoffs.

Y'all, if Lloyd's will allow us to cook on their site and have a campfire and hang out in the evenings this sounds like a great idea.

Even if they don't have enough rooms for all of us the motels in Cherokee are only about 4 miles up the road.

I vote for giving it a try.

need to act soon since the Smokey Mtn RR has stuff for kids which is popular (Polar Express) and will take rooms....

fires ( if forest service permits) are ok.....cooking is ok...... they have a quite time listed at 11:00 PM but I'll tell them what we are like and see if it will extend to a little later outside...the owners seemed flexible and we wil bring in prob over $1000.00 of revenue....

there will be other folks staying there so we have to play nice being the early risers (6:30 am fisning excursions) and late to bed folks (11:00 pm camp fires)....

I'll also try to get the ground floor wing on the left in the pic for our thingy....

Is there any kind of small banquet room that could be made available for us if a few of us wanted to gather to tie flies? I'm kind of in a quandry....this is why I had asked to just make a decision so we were'nt put in this spot....Not tryin to sound pizzy...jus sayin'

Sorry took so long to get back to this. I wont be staying at loyds due to finacial restrictions. Ill still stay at KOA and im still gunna hang with you fellas but there is that new catch and release section up there and i and Smokey and Supa can tell ya it F'in rocks.
