past morganton...exit #100 off of hwy 40 west, if your coming from charlotte....as for where on the catawba. its the part that flows out of the dam on lake james..

Keep me in mind for the next trip. I'll be fishing in the salt water on the 17th - had that planned for quite a while.
Anyone up for a still water float? I've got a great spot for that. There's not an official put-in, but lots of fish and a pretty good amount of parking.

I just got a report from 2 guy's that floated the cat today
3- Blue Gills
1- Trout
1- Smallmouth
3 -Other hits
Now the way I'm looking at it is. There's a full Moon,No Flow,90deg. air temps. Blue bird sky's
Not the best conditions for fishing
Next Sat will be better
Won't it???????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????/
