Little help Please

Hi guys and gals,
Im heading up to Cashiers on Friday to do some fishing .I was wondering what waters are fishing well ,and whats working .
I found a really good map called WNC fishing trail.I would like to fish some DH water and some DH.Im thinking of going to the expo on saturday How far is it from Cashiers ? Id like to thank you all for your post Ive really learned alot Its been a real challenge for me starting out on my fly fishing journey and yall have made it a lot eaiser with all the good advice.Any help would be greatly appreciated.PMs are welcome

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to have 10 posts before you can do PM's, Rich. Welcome aboard!

your right 10 posts. Its a spam thing. Rich just post some of these on some stream reports and get your post up to 10 and folks can send you a PM. I think your closest DH will be the Tuck. The fly fishing trails map should give you plenty to go on from your location. The WNC fly fishing expo is near the Ashville Airport at the Agricultural center. You will have to head back toward Brevard from cashiers on 64 then from Brevard to Hendersonville on 280 the Agricultrual center will be on your right just before you get to I26. There may be a faster way I just cant think of it right now. Good luck to you.

I think that's the route. And it takes you by a number of fishing options, although I imagine the Expo will suck most of the daylight out of that day. The Davidson is convenient for a quick stop, and I haven't fished the DH on the E. Fork of the French Broad, but it shouldn't be too far off the main highway.
