Local DH

Fished a local DH stream a couple of times in the last week. Forgot my camera so no pics. My son and I talked to a biologist doing a creel survey and he told me that the fish are out of two different hatcheries. The color on some is great, all the fish are heavy. My son caught two over 18" last Saturday, I caught 6 with four being 18-20". Most of them have come off of egg patterns and a hot pink nymph that I tie. The stream is real low so fish are stacked in the deeper runs. Watched a gentleman catch 3 on BWOs Monday while I was down there just riding around. Took a pic for him, he said it was his largest trout on fly. Have met some great people there this year again, talkin to them is almost as good as fishing. GET OUT AND CATCH SOME!!!
PS
Has anyone heard rumors about a monster being shocked up in SOHO this spring? I have had two different people tell me about one that was close to the world record.

I have not heard about a monster getting shocked up,but I did look at 2 fish during November in the off-limits section that were in excess of 20 lbs.

Buddy of mine fished for one a couple years ago that he thinks would have gone 30 lbs
