(Continued)

Overbrook -- "There Must be some way outta here..."

"Smile, Discomidge." "I AM smiling, D#mn it."

Disco ties some of the purtyest bass bugs in the world --

I had a great time. Hope I'm not banned.

Outdoorguy and Disco tied tiny #22-24 nymphs and softhackles, plus big bass bugs. Streamer was tying streamers, and how! PHG was tying sweet wet flies and Catskill dries. Overbrook was tying everything beautifully as usual and giving everyone a hard time (as usual). Bill and Croaker tied big ol' Georgia stuff. Ditch tied the ugliest fly in history. Smokey tied tiny stuff and bugs so real that they crawled out of his vise and flew away. Too many more great tyers to mention. I saw some great flies and learned a bunch of tying tips and tricks. Thanks!

It has been a long time since I have met so many nice people in one room at one time. I had a ball. I especially want to thank everybody for being so nice to my twin daughters. Claibourne has developed a bad attitude and refuses to give me any of the flies she tied herself. Talk about being ungrateful. I was a little surprised Ditch did not teach anybody how to tie his top secret fly, but at least he was nice enough to post a picture of it on the forum. I just wish I had more time to spend, but next year I'll be there both nights.

Twins? Oh wow man! I feel better now. I thought I'd had too much apple and pumpkin pies and was seeing double. Whew!

Had a blast at my first L&T, saw some amazing bugs coming off the vices and met a lot of great people. Along with Wilhelm, enjoyed the apple and pumpkin flavored beverages. I picked up some really good tips that will help me tie some better flies. Can't wait for next year!

Hey Streamer, Mrs. wilhelm just found the key to Room 109 in my shirt pocket. Sorry I forgot to give it back to you. I hope you're in less trouble with Marriot than I am now with Mrs. wilhelm.
