Lyin' & Tyin' 2009 is just around the corner, so let's get signed up!

Lyin' & Tyin' 2009 will be held in Charlotte at the Coutryard by Marriott University Research Park on Harris Blvd. The room rate, masterfully negotiated by Devinsdad (Thanks, Bob!) is only $74.00 / night, single or double. FYI,We've had 4 (or more) in a room before. Our event runs from Friday, Jan. 30, thru the morning of Sunday, Feb.1.

They are holding 25 rooms for us, so let's fill 'em up.

ALSO NOTE: Our event in being held at the same time as the Charlotte Fly Fishing Show, which is at the Charlotte Merchandise Mart. If you want to attend that show, here's the link for info:

Most of you know, but for those who don't, there is a hefty parking fee at the Mart for the show.

The Tyin' Room at the Marriott is HUGE and should accomodate all the folks who want to strut their stuff or learn from the best in the Southeast. There should be enough space to accomodate all you leader furlers as well.

So if you plan on attending the Lyin' & Tyin' 2009, respond to this post and I'll put you on the list. Whether you stay at the hotel or not, please sign up here. Some folks come just for the day, some are local and do not need a room, and others try to find someplace cheaper to stay. Whatever.......If you're coming for any time at all to our event, please let me know in this thread.

Jan 2 is the cutoff that they will hold rooms for us. After that you have to check with them on availability. This is in a Business Corridor for CLT so there are no guarantees after Jan 2.

All I could suggest is you can try, if they do not, you may be able to room with someone and split the cost.
