Miracle Nymph
Miracle Nymph
Hook: Your favorite nymph/curved hook
Thread: Black - See note below
Rib: Fine copper wire
Body: 1 strand of white floss
1.Tie on black thread
2.Tie on fine copper wire
3.Tie on 1 strand of white floss
4.Wrap floss forward to eye of hook
5.Wrap wire forward to eye of hook and whip finish. Add head cement
Note: Black thread is the original color called for in this pattern. However, any color thread can be used, as the underbody of this fly as it will bleed through the white floss over body and the fly will take on the hint of that color. Using red thread the fly becomes the “Bloody Miracle Nymph” etc.
I got a little high tech on the Buckskin Nymph so I toned down this one. Enjoy.
