Damselfly- Glad you had such a wonderful trip, all too often I pass thru places like this and fail to take a moment to absorb the beauty around me- and even other times, even though I've been back and forth hundreds of times, the picturesque scenery still leaves me awestruck!! Thanks for sharing... will be anxiously awaiting more !!

P.S. that prison thing.... now ya know how I feel having to drive thru these places and never getting to stop and fish..its the tease of a lifetime!

Like I've told others a grayling in the lower 48 is my idea of real trophy. Great story and pics. Hope to make an odyssey like that myself some day.
