Yikes is right. They are saying the rain caused this, but in the first of November they had an earthquake not far from that location. That could have helped shake something loose.

Naw, IMO, it is rain caused. The earthquake in early August was only a 3.2, pretty low magnitude. That area near the diversion dam (#2) slides about every 3rd year or so during wet winter storms. Seems like it happens more so when a dry year is followed by a wet year (which has just happened).

I was referring to the earthquake on November 2nd not far from Clevleland, TN.

That one was further away and was even smaller at only a 3.0.
