O.K., the FIRST PLACE CHOICE in the earlier Fly Tying Contest Poll for 2009 was for some
BAD AZZ BASS BUGS/FLIES!
So here's your choice to show yours off!

Here are the CONTEST RULES:

1. You can Signup for the Contest by replying to this Post on or before June 31, 2009.
All entries for the Contest will be due in to me no later than Saturday, July 18, 2009.
You may enter as many Bass Bugs/Flies in the Contest as you wish. YOU MUST SEND IN TWO
OF EACH BASS BUG you enter in the Contest. One set will go to the Contest Winner, with
the second set being auctioned off to the highest bidder with that money going into the
SEFFF Brook Trout Fund for 2010.

2. The FIRST PLACE WINNER will recieve a complete set of the Contest Bass Bugs, plus their
choice of one Prize from the Contest Prize List. Other place winners will be determined by the
number of prizes donated for the Contest by the SEFFF Membership.

3. The number of votes that the SEFFF membership may cast in the Contest will be determined by
the number of entries in the Contest as follows :
1-10 Entries = One Vote
11-20 Entries = Two Votes
21-30 Entries = Three Votes
etc., etc., etc.

If you guys and gals remember that the last time we had one of these contests, the honorable Belly Hair King did not win. The win went to KYratchethead himself.

And since this is helping those funny pretty fishes in the Smokies, I will add a paid membership in the Federation of Fly Fishers to the winner of the auction of the flies and a paid membership to the Federation of Fly Fishers to the winner of the contest. If I should win the contest then I will offer the membership to the second place winner. And i will add a paid membership to the FFF to the prize list if there are more than 35 tiers entering the contest. All memberships are for 1 year.

I also have 4 hatch guides for the SE trout waters both in the park and NC. I will also offer them into the prizes. I'll post the titles later.

If there was a way to legally add Moose Drool to the prize list I would do it but the only way to do that is give the tiers one when they meet up with me out here in WY/MT. so that could also be a prize but I get to help drink them. Heck i might as well take this winner fishing for a day out here.

How is that for putting up my money.
