TMC 2487 Size 14 Caddis Hook
Cream Delight Glo Bug Yarn
White 8/0 Uni-Thread





Secure Size 14 Hook in the Vice



Start 8/0 White thread in the center of the hook and tag in, notice the thread is even with the hook point..



Invert your Hook.



Select about a 11/2 inch piece of yarn. Strip about one fourth
of the diameter of the yarn off and discard.



Tie in using a figure 8 pattern on the bottom of the hook, ending with your thread towards the hook eye..



Return your fly back upright.



Pull both sides of the yarn perfectly upright.



Now wrap around the top of the hook and the yarn five times counter-clockwise, making sure to stay in your same path.
After the five wraps ending on the side facing you wrap a couple of times in front of the ball you have created.



Whip Finish.



and Trim......Now you have your Crack.
