Wink Sage/Winston/Cortland/Albright

Whatever is in my hand casting nicely, catching fish... That's my favorite rod.

TFO Lefty Kreh Pro series

I have a 8'6" 4wt 4pc and it casts as well as my friends Sage FLi 4wt. In fact, I want the 7'6" 3wt next.

Never ask a flyfisherman if he really thinks trout live in trees

I'd have to go with "other" because my two favorite rods are rods built by members of the forum.

Winston has provided the best result for the buck for me, but I think for the most part it is what works best for the individual. If it feels good, do it.

I've been a long time fan of Thomas & Thomas. They put out one of the first production 9ft. 3wt.'s and I've been fishing it since it's release sometime in the early to mid-90's. This rod has been incredibly flexible and has seen the most action over the years. I've got a 5wt. of theirs I love too. I've also had some nice Scott's, Winston's and Orvis rods. Recently I picked up a Sage that I'm very happy with as well.

Damn good company imo as well. Even amongst all of my "high end" rods, my TFO 2wt. gets some nice stream time and is pulling main brookie duty right now.

If you're talking graphite, it's Scott. All my freshwater rods are Scotts, although I do sometimes miss my Sage LL 490/3. However, if we're talking all companies then its. E.F. Payne (bamboo).

I like the med-fast action, and get a great rod at a great price. Plus they have a really cool logo!
