Soho Hackle Comparidun

This is a unique and very effective pattern for the S Holston. I fish it with a 13' to 17' leader in a #16 fly pattern. The body is tied rather naked with a slight taper in natural dubbing. I never claim to be a great fisherman but with this fly you can go over water just fished and catch em like crazy. A little tricky to tie at first. The wrapped hackle is not cut on the bottom. It is wrapped in a X pattern with the thread to move up the sides so no cutting is needed.

Hook: TMC 100 (mash barb)
Body: Natural yellow dubbing
Tail: Med dun tail fibbets
Thread: Yellow
Hackle: Med dun 1 size larger
