Soque River Fishing

I am aware that there is some public water between the areas of private water on the Soque. Anyone know exactly where that is? I'd hate to be trespassing on someone's land.

Thanks,
Thomas

Take I85 to GA 17 toward Toccoa. Before you get to Toccoa, you'll take a left on GA 17 N. Stay on this road. It becomes 197 and will take you where you want to go.

Re: Soque River Fishing

17 does not become 197! *17 takes you into clarkesville where 197 cuts off to the left just after you go through the town square if you are coming from 85. *follow hwy 197 along the soque and you will see the obvious parking areas for the public section of the river. *pray that a monster from one of the pay to fish places comes down to say hi. *
