Thought ya'll might enjoy these pictures of Jack Crevalle. We sight fished to them in the sound. They come swimming by on the surface. We come close with the motor on, then switch to the trolling motor to catch up with the school, and sight cast to them. It is a hoot to see them chasing the fly. It took 45 minutes to land this bad boy on a 12 wt.

I used to fish for Jacks when I was a kid. we'd snag a big elwye and hook himthru the nose, then snobble him across the surface as fast as you could reel. those big jacks would come up and inhale them right off the surface! Good memories.

sweet. i used to do the same in the savannah river shipping channel before i moved to new orleans. i broke a 12wt on my first one when i was 14, just found the pic (old-school film) the other day
