I have got my fly pattern figured but I am still looking for the correct material. Locofoam has a dual sided foam that is green on one side and copper the other, but i have not been able to locate any as of yet.

How is everyone elses critters coming along?

I know a brown that resides in a stump down at Mossy that would love a bite at one of these!

For the eyes and wing edge, I used fabric paint like I use on the Hipps poppers or crease flies, called Scribbles Crystal Gel Sparkle. There are about three different brands that use what they call crystals or glitter and is available at Wally World or any craft store in a lot of different colors. Works great for adding a little flash to your poppers or foam bugs.

I ended up deciding to tie a fur ant. It's simple and fishes great underneath and in the film.
