Trout Bum- The Movie!

I really hope this works out.

"40 Rivers To Freedom has just been informed by a representative for Simon & Schuster Publishing, that a new movie is in the works based on the novels written by fly fishing writer/philosopher, John Gierach."

I don't know, guys. We'll all watch it, of course, but do we need another cultural phenomenon like "The Movie" (which I watched again last night )? Millions more folks whose previous sport was golf will decide to "try" flyfishing, get addicted, and make the streams even more crowded.

Signed-An obvious curmudgeon who decided to "try" fly fishing after watching "The Movie."

I don't see why anything that might be able to help the economy could be a bad thing, especially our fly shops. I'd guess that the large majority of those who fly fish, especially beginners, only fish a very small percentage of fishable water anyhow. Looks like we'll have an even better excuse to go blue lining!
