Thumbs up Tying Dry Flies

Just received my copy of Tying Dry Flies by Jay Nichols (Stackpole Books, 2009). In it the author gives recipes for 22 flies, including mayflies and midges, caddis, terrestrials, and attractors. The instructions are very well described with good photos of each step. In addition, the author gives some history of each flie and suggestions on ways to fish each fly.

The additional photography of rivers from across the country is outstanding. Makes me want to get out there!

Found the book on Amazon for $16.50 plus shipping. A great addition to a fly tying library. Ron
