Like a lot of other people have already said Donnie, I'll be praying for you, Pam, and your kids. Just a word of encouragement from my family to yours. Sometimes god allows things to happen to us because he wants us to lean on Him and Him only. He doesn't cause them to happen, but He allows it. Beyond our understanding I know, but the writer of James knew what he was talking about when he wrote "count it ALL joy brothers and sisters when all kinds of troubles come your way. For you know that when your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow. so let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed you will be prefect and complete needing nothing"Js1:2-4

I'll echo what Damsel said. My wife and I begin our day with your family in our thoughts. You've got a lot of people thinking about you, buddy!

I'm very sorry to hear that. My wife was diagnosed with cancer 6 yaers ago. The day of the diagnosis was one of the worst in my life. She had surgery and radiation and, although they said there was a very good chance it would return, she is cancer free at the moment. Your wife and family will be in my prayers.

There is a lot to update but I will give the high points.

We went to Johs Hopkins to visit one of the best PC oncololigist. He gave us a chemo treatment called GTX that has had great results. The good news is they can administer it here in Roanoke. I was afraid I was going to have to move the family to Baltimore for three months. We start the chemo @Oct 1.

Pam is still having a good deal of pain and nausea either related to the surgery or the cancer. No one really knows. But she has some good drugs that help and she rests most of day.

Thanks to everyone for the words and support. One of you even offerred to take my kids fishing, one of the best offers I have had
