I know, I've been missing for a few weeks. I was on an out of town assignment.
Anyway, I thought I'd give this Adirondack pattern a whirl. Interestingly, it is an example of using a locally available material to create a unique pattern. In the Adirondacks, the snowshoe hare is much more common than the cotton tail, so it's a common material up there.
I bought a set of hare's feet several years ago, intending to tie up a few of these. Never got around to it, of course....
