Whats a good blank to use?

I am wanting to build an 8 wt. what is a good blank to use. I have roughly 125 to 150 to spend on it?

I have a RX7 Rainshadow 9ft 8wt that I built. It is a great blank if you don't like a really fast rod like me. It is fast enough but not a broomstick like some of your top end rods. They are a great company to deal with also. Look at the other thread in this section that I made comments on them. It is a IM6 graphite rod BTW.

http://www.angelfire.com/ks/bingham/closeout.html - check out the 4 piece 8wt for $38 - I purchase a couple of 5wt and 6 wts - beautiful glossy brown/red finish - fast action - first quality blank from a major blank manufacturer - I used Persalls brown silk for a transparent wrap with gold trim on the ferrule wraps

Inex*****ve blanks

Both St. Croix and Pacific Bay make good quality, inexpensive, blanks.
