Wilson's is much bigger and deeper than I remember from years ago and seems to be much more accessible. I assume, due to removal of camps and clearing of brush etc. (but that could just be my memory which at times is questionable)
Certainly worth more trips to really get familiar with the stream etc.
Has anybody done any fishing in the gorge section in the fall?

Richard,
You assumed correctly, the river is a lot more accessible. the portion near the second big bridge was all private land until the state bought it. Man it looks so much better up there. As for brush removal, its about the same, just less trash, trailers, etc... WC has the potential to be one of the best DH's in the state if the poachers are kept under control.
Haven't fished the gorge this year, but there are always shots at big trout in there. I just don't have the time to devote to a day on the gorge with all the other fishing ops going on.
